Birthday Coming Up

I have something for your birthday, bunso. I know I told you over the phone the other day and Daddy said that you were jumping for joy. Just don't let it get in the way of your studies, ok?

I Pray That You'll Be Spared

These past few days have been a bit tough. I am realizing even more that growing up is far more complicated than I thought it would be.

Silas, I hope that you will find it easier than we are finding it now. I hope that you will be spared some of our experiences. Or maybe, that you will respond and learn better than we are doing so right now.

Missing Si-si Again

Here I am at the office trying to work but I suddenly feel this overwhelming urge to see Silas. I miss my little brother. We were together last Saturday for Sam's party and we went shopping for a bit afterwards. I can't wait till I see him again.

He's in second grade now. Look at how big a boy he has become.
